Description At a few steps from Siena centre, the Holiday Farmhouse Il Lucherino is right out of Siena medieval walls, close to Porta Tufi. Surrounded by a large garden, atop the hills, it offers a beautiful view of the town, although remaining in a very quiet and calm area. Originally built at the beginning 13th century, restored during the years, it has been in the past a renown hunting base, for its closeness to the countryside. Nowadays, transformed into a private home, it has become a hospitality place for those who want to visit the beautiful Siena but prefer to stay in a warm and typical Tuscan environment, at short distance from its enchanting country landscapes.
WHO WE ARE Passionate horse breeders since always, we decided to open our house to guests, in order to offer people the beauties of our town and the charme of our countryside. The apartments of our holiday farmhouse are very comfortable, an ideal place where to start the exploration and discovery of Tuscany and its beautiful land.Nearby the farmhouse, we have our horse handling stable, where we breed our race champions.

Description La Prodaia is a small and cosy guest-house, looking down on the ancient city of Siena and on one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Tuscan countryside. On the top of a hill, at only 3 Km from the historic centre of Siena, La Prodaia is the ideal place both for visiting the wonderful town of the 'Palio' and for enjoying the quiet of the surrounding countryside, which belonged to the adjacent Monastery dating from the 8th century. Located at the heart of the region, La Prodaia is also the perfect starting point for reaching the many artistic, historical and natural treasures for which Tuscany is known. At La Prodaia we will welcome you personally for holidays in our comfortable and carefully furnished apartments, accommodating respectively 2 or 4 people, which are self-sufficient and independent from the manor house. You may relax in the shady garden over a glass of wine, or walk along the paths of the surrounding countryside, among vineyards and olive trees. A wood-oven and a barbecue are also available for guests for a nice pizza-party (with our assistance, if needed) as well as bicycles and games for children. It is also possible to organise guided tours to Siena, the city of the worldwide famous 'Palio', and to the other many tourist-sites of our region. The apartment Il Timo (first floor, 53 sq. m) has a wonderful view on Siena and the surrounding countryside. Reviews from past customers Prodaia was situated in a very picturesque setting and ideally located not far from Siena and many other hill top towns if you have a car. There is also a bus service which takes you in to the City of Siena where you can link to other towns and cities like Firenze and other places. Description The agritourism has been realized by an old barn situated inside the farm where you can find a stud farm for english gallop purebloods. The 3 flats are elegant respecting the canons of tuscan style. They have all the comforts. The agritourism is only 4 km far from siena city centre.
