Description Situated on the upper part of the Tuscan Maremma, Villa la Bandita is an estate of 55 hectares which stretches along the sunny hills of the upper Val di Cornia near the Commune of Sassetta, a climatic area at 300 metres above sea level, only a few kilometres from Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri and from the beaches of Marina di Castagneto and San Vincenzo, in front of the Tuscan archipelago. The sea is 12 km away from the Estate and is quickly reached along roads that are not very frequented. An enchanted place characterized by the Mediterranean thickwood, olive groves and vineyards, the Val di Cornia enjoys a particular micro-climate with cool breezes in the summer and mild days in the winter.The flora and wildlife are among the most beautiful and interesting in the whole of the upper Maremma with rare samples of wild orchids and various animal species like fawn, porcupines and wild boar.The estate consists in the master's house (from the 18th century) recently restructured and transformed into an elegant Country House? .The Villa has 10 bedrooms all furnished with period furniture and ornaments which warm the atmosphere of this elegant and comfortable private house.Other 14 rooms are in the depandances "La Foresteria" and gli"Ulivi". Description Costa Etrusca Farm House is gently set on a green hill made of wood and cultivated, fertile land, facing the most beautiful part of the Tyrrhenian Sea. One's eye can lay on the isles of Corsica, Elba, Capraia and follow the coast line until the Baratti Gulf. Guests are hosted in lodges located in various places of the farm, some of them have private gardens, some others are situated under wide open galleries. They all differ one from the other and are named after trees, plants and flowers that enrich the various gardens of Costa Etrusca. Lodges are furnished with care and they are suitable for both summer and winter stays. The swimming-pool is situated in the most panoramic place of the farm, swimming in the pool while looking at the sea, surrounded by gardens of olive trees, aromatic plants, roses and fragrant climbing plants is incredibly charming. In winter, when the whether is too cold to allow swimming in the farm's pool, one can reach Il Calidario, at a 7 kms distance, a natural hot water lake.
